This mentoring series is based on the CIMER Mentoring Program and is designed to help graduate students and postdocs be effective mentors. It is often said that good mentoring can be learned, but not taught.  Each mentee you encounter in your careers will be different, and so to be an effective mentor you have to learn strategies that can be applied to deal with different mentoring situations. You will have assignments to complete before each session. Participants are expected to attend all of the sessions.
