The Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Education

About the Guarini Institute

A majority of Dartmouth’s undergraduates participate in one or more off-campus programs before graduating. Our success in international education is rooted in a long tradition of faculty-led programs that fully immerse undergraduates in exciting new environments while integrating these experiences with their lives back on campus. By studying alongside Dartmouth faculty, taking courses with host-country academics at partner institutions, and sharing life with local residents a local family, our students gain an in-depth understanding and appreciation of their host country. Excursions to sites of artistic, historic and natural beauty provide them with  further insights into the life and culture of the region.
